ePSIplus Recommendations and Supporting Evidence to the EC's 2008 Review of the PSI Re-use Directive
DRAFT (23 July 2008) of the ePSIplus Network’s Recommendations and Supporting Evidence to the European Commission’s ‘Consultation on the Review of the Directive on PSI re-use.’
The document includes an introductory section on the basis for the Recommendations followed by the recommendations organised in the following categories. The final section includes citations to specific pieces of evidence for each of the recommendations.
- Progress on implementation of the Directive
- Channels for redress
- Discriminatory practices
- Access to PSI
- Stimulating the private sector to act
- The Economic case
- Specific provisions of the Directive

These ‘Recommendations’ will be presented by the ePSIplus Network to the European Commission’s 2008 review of the PSI Directive. The closing date for this EC consultation process is: 15 September 2008. Read more about the EC's consultation on the review of the PSI Directive.
Work is ongoing on these ePSIplus Recommendations and the final draft will be submitted to the EC by the 15 September 2008 deadline.
